Believe it or not, this was the very first cabochon I ever cut. It was done in the SMS shop. I choose a piece of rough that did not look too good. Being my first attempt, I did not want to ruin a good piece of stone. But, to my suprise it was and luckily it was a successfully cut cab too. I owe most of my success to the friendly advice of the shop steward Les.
It took me about three hours.
