Founded in 1936 our Membership has been open to anyone with a keen
interest in the mineralogical/geological sciences and/or the lapidary
arts. We are a diverse group of people with a diverse degree of talents,
and we enjoy sharing our common interests. |

| Our Mission Statement: Our goal is to promote interest in and to increase the knowledge and understanding of the related sciences of mineralogy and the lapidary arts; to promote field trips and the study of geological formations; to encourage the collection and preservation of minerals as they occur in nature; to maintain an active membership of Juniors who are interested in mineralogy and the related sciences; and most of all to create an atmosphere where members of diverse backgrounds will feel comfortable sharing their common interests |
