Founded in 1936 our Membership has been open to anyone with a keen interest in the mineralogical/geological sciences and/or the lapidary arts. We are a diverse group of people with a diverse degree of talents, and we enjoy sharing our common interests.

If you think you might be interested in joining, please come to one of our meetings or stop by our Shop on a Saturday to see what our membership offers.

Membership privileges include access to our library, shop facilities, mineral specimens in the yard, and the wealth of knowledge of our friendly experienced members.

If you have any questions, please E-mail us.

Membership Dues are $24 a year, with a one-time Badge Fee of $7.00.

  Our Mission Statement:
Our goal is to promote interest in and to increase the knowledge and understanding of the related sciences of mineralogy and the lapidary arts; to promote field trips and the study of geological formations; to encourage the collection and preservation of minerals as they occur in nature; to maintain an active membership of Juniors who are interested in mineralogy and the related sciences; and most of all to create an atmosphere where members of diverse backgrounds will feel comfortable sharing their common interests
