Large Painting on Canvas

The above 8"X 10" photo was imported into CorelDraw8 PhotoPaint and enhanced and rendered onto high quality glossy film, matted under a black beveled mat and framed into a 11"X 14" box frame. This beginning photograph, was taken with my Kodak DC 120 Digital Camera.

"The Picture You Gallery" is where you experience yourself as a work of art. Picture a photograph of yourself, a family member or a friend, transformed into a piece of art. We all want to look our best and present ourselves in an exceptional photograph. Through digital graphic art, your photo can be manipulated, enhanced and put into the perfect scene or onto an exquisite form or background. My name is Linda and I am an artist working out of my home-based studio, in Lyndhurst, Ohio. Offering you individual attention, I can also turn your photographs into brilliant paintings on canvas. This page is an illustration of my work, and you will agree, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Cher-on-black

1. This photo was taken with a digital camera. 2. The photo was imported into Corel8 PhotoPaint and masked off and put onto a new background. It was then desaturated, and the texture and blemishes were removed. 3. This photo was scanned from an art magazine called "American Photo" and is from a Louise Dahl-Wolfe photograph taken in 1954 titled, "Japanese Bath." The masked face (#2) was put into the picture (#3) and graphically manipulated and given a Sepia finish in (#4)

I then painted the image onto a 36"X 48" stretched canvas

Lady in White

This small 1" X 2" photo (#1.) was taken in 1923. The image was scanned into Corel PhotoPaint8 and an area of the picture was selected to manipulate. (#2.) In PhotoPaint8 I used many different tools and applications to turn this very small portion of the picture into a piece of art ready for framing. The photo on the right was taken with a digital camera and then retouched in PhotoPaint.

Friends Forever

This picture was created from two separate photos. One is a standard photo scanned into PhotoPaint8 and the other is a digital photograph. I took each photo and selected the subjects I wanted for the above art picture.

Gen as a fairy child Gen in Grass Gen in Art

All three pictures are digitally created and enhanced in Corel PhotoPaint.

Masked in Fractals

The above image is manipulated in PhotoPaint.

The Kiss

New Kiss

As before mentioned, here are some of the examples of completed orders. The wedding photo was taken back in the fifties and the couple requested an updated art photo.

Diana Before

Diana After

This picture was scanned into Corel Photo Paint8. Making use of many of the effects tools in PhotoPaint8, this is the finished art photo.
