Welcome to my little shack on the net.  I haven't really figured out what all I will do with this site yet...so just bear with me until I do.  I already have a site with clipart and a site with recipes, so where to go with this one...ummmm.

A LITTLE TIDBIT ABOUT ME

I love to collect clipart BIGTIME!! I have been known to spend HOURS upon HOURS just surfing the web for it.  I do a lot of desktop publishing here at home, mostly for myself and family.  My family also likes to play around with it too.  We use Printmaster Platinum to make greeting cards, address labels, posters, etc.  I have made business cards and address labels for my parents and a few friends who are in the business, only charging enough to cover the cost of my materials though.  Mostly I just do it for the fun of it.

Um....maybe I SHOULD go into business for myself!!

Do you like songs??  I personally love them!!  I love to sing.... anywhere, anytime.  If I know the words to a song, I can't help but to sing along with it!!

I started singing publicly when I was just a small child in church with my sister and my mother playing the piano for us.  We would get calls to go sing all over the surrounding area where we lived.  We even once were asked to go to Tennessee to sing, but at the time could not afford it, so we didn't get to go...bummer. *s*  From there I went on to sing in the school choirs in JR High and High School.  My only problem with public performances now is that I tend to cry when I sing certain songs....some say that is good...but I don't think so...it is hard to sing while your chocked up. *s*

I guess it runs in the family because my husband and both of my girls love to sing too.  My oldest daughter was singing in public at the age of 5....she went to a local nursing home where my mother goes to play for the elderly, and climbed up on a chair by the piano and sang Christmas songs for them.  They were so pleased that they clapped, sang along with her and some even cried that such a young child cared enough to come sing for them.
