Army of Darkness:Special Edition:

The third installment of the greatest horror trilogy ever, finally relseased in this extended, special edition. Fifteen more minutes of footage, most of which greatly adds to the movie and makes some scenes much more understandable, has been added to the movie. And best of all, the infamous "Planet of the Apes" ending is finally available in a non-bootleg form. I gotta admit, I like the ending from the original version more, much funnier, but this one is very interesting. Plus, after hearing about it for so long I'm just glad I finally got to see the damn thing. No longer in print, but if you can find a copy, buy it. This is most likely the greatest movie ever made.

Stigmata:

A very well done religous horror movie. I'm a huge fan of religous horror, the novel I'm writing is religous based, so I dug this movie. Well acted, well directed, an all around good flick. And what makes it even more interesting is that, at its core, it's based on an actual religous text that was discovered back in the 40's that is supposed to be written by Christ himself. If you're even mildly interested in religous horror, check this one out.

Jack Frost:

No, this isn't the lame ass movie starring Michael Keaton. This is, next to the Evil Dead series, one of the greatest cheesy horror flicks ever made. The story is ridiculous, the acting terrible, and the special effects are at a junior high level at best. But this movie is so bad it's good. Especially funny is the 15 year-old kid that's pretending to be about 7 in the movie, and the one-liners thrown out by "Jack Frost" himself (who coincidentally is played by one of the guys from those Budweiser commercials where the men dressed up as women.) Plus, in the video store this was one of those movies that had a cover that changed when you looked at it from different angles. One of the happiest finds I've ever stumbled across. Rent this one with several friends and prepare to become the cast from Mystery Science theater 3000.
