Worsted weight yarn
Size G hook
Large, thin covered elastic (I use Goody brand)
Finished size - 4 1/2 " across, doubled sided, very full and ruffly.
Rnd 1 Join yarn to elastic with sc, sc all around, I usually
put 32 - 40, join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2 Ch 1, sc in same sp as joining, 2 sc in each sc around.
Join with sl st in BACK loop only of first sc.
Rnd 3 Ch 4, working in BACK loops only, dc, ch 1 in each sc
around. Join with sl st to top of beg ch-4.
Rnd 4 * ch 3, sc in ch-1 sp, repeat from * around. Ch 6, join
with sl st to first unused FRONT loop of sc in Rnd 2.
Rnd 5 Repeat Rnd 3 working in FRONT loops of Rnd 2.
Rnd 6 Repeat Rnd 4, join with sl st in last ch-1 sp. Finish
off.

Worsted weight yarn
Size H hook
Covered elastic (I use Goody brand, the large thin ones)
Finished Size - 4" across, very full, double-sided, and ruffly
I used Red Heart "Starbrights" in the sample
Join yarn to elastic with sc, sc all around (30 - 35 sc), join with sl st
to 1st sc.
Ch 1, sc in same st, * 2 sc in next sc, repeat from * around, join with sl
st to BACK loop only of 1st sc.
Ch 2, hdc in same st, ch 3, working in BACK loops only, 2 hdc, ch 3 in each
sc around, end with hdc.
Ch 6, join with sl st in FRONT loop of 1st sc, hdc in same st, ch 3, working
in FRONT loops, 2 hdc, ch 3 in each sc around. Join with sl st in 3rd ch
of beg ch-6, fasten off.

Worsted weight yarn
I used Soft Creations Yarn by TMA - Americana Ombre for the
model.
Size G hook
Lg., thin covered elastic - I use Goody Brand
Finished Size - 4" across, double-sided.
Rnd 1 Join yarn with sc to elastic, 30
sc around, join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2 Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, working in FRONT
loops only, 2 hdc in each sc around, join with sl st to top of beg ch-2.
Rnd 3 *ch 4, sl st in third ch from hook (picot made),
ch, skip next hdc, sl st in next hdc, repeat from * around, join with sl
st to base of beg ch-4.
Rnd 4 Ch 3, join with sl st to BACK loop of first sc
on Rnd 1, working in BACK loops only, repeat Rnd 2.
Rnd 5 Repeat Rnd 3 in hdcs of Rnd 4. Finish off.

Worsted weight yarn
I used Pop 'n Yarn in # A3-365 Pop Out Yellow
Red Heart in # 328 Brown and # 389 Hunter
Green
Size G hook
Finished Size - 3 1/4" across (not including leaves)
With Brown, ch 5, join to form ring.
Rnd 1 - Ch 1, 9 sc in ring, join with sl st in first sc.
Rnd 2 - Ch 2, hdc in same sp as joining, 2 hdc in each sc around,
join with sl st to top of beg ch-2, fasten off.
Rnd 3 - Join Yellow in BACK loop only of any sc, ch 8, sl st in same
loop. Sl st, ch 8, sl st in each BACK loop around, join at base of beg
ch-8.
Rnd 4 - Sl st in FRONT loop of sc directly under where just joined,
ch 5, sl st in same loop. Sl st, ch 5, sl st in each FRONT loop around, join
with sl st to base of beg ch-5, fasten off.
Leaves - Make 2
With Green, ch 9, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc across
foundation chain, join and fasten off.
Glue leaves and magnet to the back of sunflower.

I used Red Heart Super Saver Navy Fleck and Burgundy for the model
Size G hook
1" diameter button (optional)
Finished Size - 7" square
With MC, ch 6, join to form ring.
Rnd 1 Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc), 11 dc in ring, join with sl
st to top of beg ch-3: 12 dc.
Rnd 2 Ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in same sp (corner made), * dc in
each of next 2 dc, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * around, join
with sl st to top of beg ch-3: 24 dc and 4 ch-2 sps
Rnd 3 Sl st in next dc and in ch-2 sp, ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc
in same sp, * dc in each of next 6 dc, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp,
repeat from * around, join with sl st to top of beg ch-3: 40 dc and 4 ch-2
sps
Rnd 4 Repeat Rnd 3 working dc in each of the 10 dc on each
side and the 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc corner in each ch-2 sp: 56 dc and 4 ch-2 sps
Rnd 5 Repeat Rnd 3 working dc in each of the 14 dc on each
side and the 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc corner in each ch-2 sp: 72 dc and 4 ch-2 sps
Rnd 6 Repeat Rnd 3 working dc in each of the 18 dc on each
side and the 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc corner in each ch-2 sp, fasten off: 88 dc and
4 ch-2 sps
Rnd 7 Attach CC in any ch-2 sp, ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in same
sp, * dc in each of next 22 dc, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, repeat
from * around, join, fasten off.
Sew button to center of square, weave in ends.

I used #196 - Cardinal and #44S - Blue/Silver

Small snap
Pattern is worked holding one strand of each color together throughout.
Dress (Bodice is worked from waist up)
Ch 24
Row 1 Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1,
turn. (23 sc)
Row 2 Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Row 3 and 4 Repeat Row 2, ch 2 at end of Row 4.
Row 5 Hdc in each sc across, ch 2, turn. (23 hdc)
Row 6 Repeat Row 5, ch 2, turn.
Row 7 Hdc in next 8 hdc, 3 hdc in next hdc, hdc in next 4 hdc,
3 hdc in next hdc, hdc in remaining 9 hdc, ch 2, turn. (27 hdc)
Row 8 Hdc in next 9 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, hdc in next hdc,
hdc dec, hdc dec, hdc in next hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, hdc in remaining 19
hdc, ch 2, turn. (27 hdc)
Row 9 With right side facing, hdc in next 13 hdc, sl st in
next hdc, hdc in remaining 13 hdc, ch 1, DO NOT turn, sl st in end of each
row going down side to foundation ch.
Skirt (worked from foundation ch down)
Rnd 1 Ch 2, hdc in each ch across, join with sl st to top of
beg ch-2. (23 hdc)
Rnd 2 Ch 2, * hdc in ext hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, repeat
from * around, join, ch 2. (34 hdc)
Rnd 3 Hdc in each hdc around, join, ch 2
Rnd 4 and 5 Repeat Rnd 3
Rnd 6 2 hdc in each hdc around, join, ch 2. (68 hdc)
Rnd 7 Hdc in each hdc around, join, ch 2.
Rnd 8 Sc in next hdc, * ch 3, sc in next hdc, repeat from *
around, join, fasten off.
Finishing
Sew snap to top of bodice with sl st side overlapping other side.
Tie With one strand of either color, ch a 12" length,
fasten off. Tie around waist.
Hat
Ch 5, join to form ring.
Rnd 1 Ch 2, 14 hdc in ring, join. (15 hdc)
Rnd 2 Ch 2, hdc in next hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, * hdc in next
2 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, repeat from * around. (20 hdc)
Rnd 3 Ch 4, hdc in same st, skip next hdc, * hdc, ch 2, hdc
in next hdc, skip next hdc, repeat from * around, join in second ch of beg
ch-4
Rnd 4 Ch 3, * sc in next ch 2 sp, ch 3, repeat from * around,
join, fasten off.
