Unknown Girl, 1569 - one of ym favorite dresses of all time, and the one my red noble dress is based on. I went through weeks of confused stupor on the design, and didn't find out until *after* I finished it that it is one of the examples covered in Jean Hunnisett's Period Costuming for Stage and Screen 1500 - 1800.

Girl with Scales - The undersleeves on this are very interesting. I have thought they were a later spanish style, but this is clearly an earlier picture.
