I believe we build up our relationships over many lifetimes giving us a feeling of already knowing someone when we meet them for the first time. I call these people soulmates.SOULMATES & TWINSOULS I want to dedicate this page to my twinsoul Jay
for his patience, foresight and persistence in searching for his twinsoul and succeeding.
Its also good to see that people are finally finding their true soulmates over the airwaves as well. Normally they wouldn't have ever come in contact with these people in a lifetime if they lived on the other side of the world, but with modern technology it is happening more and more, sometimes bringing good results, sometimes not so good.
Nowadays there is quite an emphasis on finding your true soulmate and people are searching far and wide to have this happen. I feel if your lessons enable you to find that true friend or partner, you will.
I believe just as we are born on this earth so we are born in spirit. Sometimes the egg divides more than once and we end up with another soul - this is what I call a twinsoul.
I have found it is not common to find your twin soul within the same lifetime as you. The reason being, if you did meet, both of you would have to be at a very similar spiritual, physical, emotional and mental level. It's like looking at yourself really. What you see in your twinsoul is more than likely what you are truly like. All their good and not so good traits are more than likely yours as well - not many people can admit the truth about what they are really like - so meeting a twinsoul might create a lot of disharmony if either of you is not ready. Therefore it only happens when both of you can handle it and then it depends once again on what you both have to learn by being together.
Sometimes you may come together in a particular lifetime for very specific reasons and find it will be long enough to learn the lessons needed. If you have chosen to meet up with a twinsoul and find yourself in a partnership with them, then you have truely achieved a lot of growth in this lifetime. This could be the reward you have chosen for yourselves once you had gotten through the hard times of lessons to learn. If you are comfortable with yourself this lifetime, you will be very comfortable with your twinsoul, hence enjoying your time together, sometimes without any more hassels, sometimes making life easier having that special person with you.
Twinsouls give balance to each other if you both are at a similar level of development. A spiritual person who always needs grounding will more than likely find their twinsoul will be a physical person - there lies the balance.
Age doesn't come into it when we are talking about soulmates and twinsouls. If there is a connection, love knows no boundaries. I have seen couples with 20 years between them, very happy indeed with a very deep soulmate connection. It just depends on what the partner has chosen to learn this lifetime as to what age and race they are and what country they live in.
I have come across twinsouls who have been both females and have spent their whole entire lives together as the best of friends. Their looks are very similar and everything they do is done the same way. They have the same amount of children and even their husbands were very similar - quite an amazing thing really.
We see twins being born in the physical and going through the similar things on this physical plane, though usually their lessons are very different than a spiritual twinsoul, as they are always brothers and sisters here on this earth. Spiritually, your twinsoul comes down to this earthplane and can be anyone from any country, any race, of any age.
You may ask how do you recognise a twinsoul or a soulmate?
Usually you meet up with these people and feel an instant like for them. You may look into their eyes and feel you have been with this person before or feel you know them well. Sometimes a mannerism they have will spark strong feeling so that you will have to get to know them. You could find they look similar to yourself or close family member. When someone becomes a good friend you can usually say you have met a soulmate. When you meet that someone who is so alike you in every way, you can be rest assured you have found your twinsoul. From then on it is up to you and what lessons you may need to learn together.
If you are not able to be with your twinsoul this lifetime, do not worry. We have many soulmates throughout our lives and find partners in them as well. As I said, it just depends on what your lessons are in this lifetime.

After searching for 36 years for my twinsoul/soulmate, I learned that it
doesn't
matter
how hard you try to find that someone special, if your lessons don't
include
that person at the time you want them, then it might never happen
until
the time is right. I had a feeling what my twinsoul would look like,
his
eyes, hair colour, look, but that was about it. I have found that
seeing
for oneself is something that is not easy to do and after
many
lessons I felt I had to stop looking for a time.
My
twinsoul found me when I was 36 years old. He also knew what I would be
like and searched until he found me. I don't believe in coincidences in
life, I just believe
it
is as it should be. He said it was like being on a mission and felt eventually
he
would find me.
Jay
my husband, is 12 years younger than me which came as a shock to many people.
He is English and I am a New Zealander. We managed to have a long distance
relationship for a year, then knew we had to be together physically so
we could both get on in our lives. Being at the other end of the world
felt like we were two halves waiting to be
put
together. This is when after much thought, I moved
to
England with my children.
Even
through all the obstacles put in our way we are together after 3 years
and still very happy. We are alike in so many ways and find we balance
each other very nicely. We work well together and feel we shall be together
throughout the remainder
of
this lifetime.
Every
day I thank Jay for taking a chance on his feelings and spiritual knowing
of that somewhere in this world - which really isn't that big -
a
soulmate/twinsoul waited for him.
