ESCAPE
July 1980
_______________

There are so many problems.
What can you do?
You want to leave, but you can't get through.

You're lacking strength.
Where can you go?
What's the solution?
You really don't know.

You look for the door.
It just isn't there.
You say to yourself,
"It just isn't fair!"

An easy way out.
That's what you need, to make your escape,
But what can you be?

Maybe some pills and a drink or two.
Why not suicide?
That wouldn't do.

A realist at heart knows there's no easy way,
But to stick it out,
Look for happier days.

Look to the future for what you are due.
That silver lined cloud is waiting for you.
