_______________

I've found a place that is tranquil.
I've found a place that is wild.
It provides a respite for an adult.
It provides an adventure for a child.
The way the river lazily snakes through the valley.
The way the river rushes viciously over the edge.
No matter where you happen to sit or stand,
The beauty is immense from trail or ledge.
The introduction made by someone as yet unseen
That says they are nothing to write home about.
Whose beauty has already touched me
In ways I hope to never do without.
