_______________
I once had a castle
a fortress strong and tall
I would look out my bastion
looking for my love, my all
I would send out my signals
so that a maiden fair would see
I looked for my juliet
oh where could she be
I summoned up the wisest men
that my money could possibly buy
I could not find a single girl
I must find out why
As I listened to these wise men
whom talked of better words
I suddenly realized it was the walls
that kept my words unheard
I tore down the mighty walls
and invited the people in
I set my banquet table
and let "life" begin
The people started coming
first only a few
but as the time started to pass
then I knew that it was true
My walls had kept my message
from reaching the needed ears
I only needed to tear down the walls
and my love would soon come near
My love and I Now I live
within the modest walls that we own
I still have my castle
but now my castle is my home
