Date: Friday, 31 March, 2000 22:31 To date, life was approaching tolerable for Catherine Ellison, After the fracas of becoming Sailor Gamer, then getting limbo'd by her Author because of RL concerns, things were beginning to calm down. She had just started shooting the next segment of the Princess storyline when, suprise, suprise, the author himself entered the scene. "Hey, Cath, how 'ya doing?" Patrick, to his credit, looked a bit more flustered than usual. Not to mention the fact that a few arrows were sticking out of his omnipresent Gamer's Utility Satchel. "Boss, you OK? Look, I'm sorry about what I did last time...." (Image of Catherine threatening a stuffed Eevee, while the author types madly at a terminal) "You can make it up to Eevee later, we got problems. Have a look." Reaching into his Satchel, he pulled out a small usenet player, and hit the 'start' button. Catherine watched for a few minutes, shock registering across her features. "You mean..." Catheine started. "Yep, Do it Cockeyed is planning on dubbing more Sailor Moon." "But, the Outer Senshi....And the Death Busters....." "It don't look good, is true. And yeah, some of the Underdog Legion elite forces tried to raid DiC to stop them, but...." "But what? The Sub-Woofers can take out any enemy of subbing." "Not this time. You know the rumours of DiC getting help from other dimensions?" "Yeah" "Last week, their Clerkmon dub-evolved to Lawyermon." "&*^%$####!!" "That's about what I said, yeah. Look, Kat...." "DON'T CALL ME 'KAT'!" "Right, *Catherine*, a lot of the fans on both sides are getting irate, you're gonna have to keep your head low for a while. And you'll need these, too." Patrick passed a small business card to Catherine, as well as a url written on a piece of paper. "And these are...?" Catherine asked. "I got a few addresses for bookstores in my area. If you need a hit, try there. The url is a link to a couple of websites, you can transit to them anytime, remind yourself what the original was like." "That's not a lot to go out with, Pat." "No, it isn't, but for now it's all we got. Listen, I can't stay here too long, or I'm gonna catch hfil for not finishing up my RL stuff. Gods willing, I'll have the next episode drawn up by the end of next week." "Sure, OK. Listen, about my powers......" "<-groan->" Patrick O'Shea -just venting.
