Mama gives birth to a little child

Daddy waits with a patient smile

To tell him what he's brought to the world

They often tell she'll be daddy's girl

He hears a voice as she starts to climb

Looks through the window and tears fall from his eyes

He takes me fishing like I'm one of the guys
