Hose Wreath
submitted by Bev
You Need:
Old Garden Hose (50 ft.
will make 4 wreaths)
Raffia
Wire, pipe cleaners, twine,
etc. to put the hose together and secure the items around it.
Hot Glue gun & Glue
Accents (see ideas below)
Directions:
Start by coiling a section
of garden hose 3 times around itself, tying it at the top, bottom and left
side with pipe cleaners. (A 50ft. hose will make around 4 wreaths).
Add a gardening glove (stuffed
with a plastic bag to give it some shape) topped off with Spanish moss
to resemble a birds nest. The glove is then wired or tied on with twine.
The rest of the wreath can be decorated with silk or dried flowers and
other gardening accents such as mini garden tools, flower pots, seed packs,
mini watering cans, raffia or burlap bows, etc.
These can be arranged
to cover the pipe cleaners and hot glued or wired on.
Hang it from your garden
shed, screened porch, screened door, deck or privacy fence!
