Classical Guitar Listening Room

There are three wav files to load, so please be patient.  I don't like
the midi versions, so I recorded the real thing.  It was necessary
to cut them because of size, but there is enough to enjoy.

This site is provided as a courtesy to others
who love the sound of the classical guitar
as much as I.
Although there are some incredible
guitar sites on the web, all much
more complex and comprehensive
than this one, my intention is to
keep this simple.

The three wav files are below, which you can
select at will.
Directions on how to turn them
on and off are there, also (a right-mouse deal).

I will change these once a month, or more frequently,
and you may return as often as you like
to check them out.
Or come back on a quiet night
when you need to relax and listen to the old ones.

Why did I make this page?  Well, I used to play
classical guitar for years.  I was never as good
as these guys, of course, but for personal
enjoyment, it filled my life for a long time.

And, because I have more time now, I bought a new
guitar (huge thanks to new internet friend,
D.R., who sold me his Yamaha classic thru the
Yahoo auction).  Don't believe everything
you hear about not being able to trust those
you meet on the Web.  Such mistrust implies that
only dishonest or bad people go online.
For every terrible story you have heard, I could
provide you with twenty stories of wonderful
people I have met and who have become my
friends.  This guitar purchase only serves
to fortify my basic belief that good people
are everywhere.  D.R. is one of them.
Thank you, my new friend.

I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I do.

This is the famed Pepe Romero, of the Spanish Romero family.  He is without a doubt my favorite classical guitarist in the world.  Until you have seen this man play, you have not experienced a real concert.  Of the three remaining members of the Romero guitarists, he is the one who truly has the Spanish soul.  When he walks out on the stage, smiles and sits down to play Flamenco, you are in for an experience unrivaled in all the world.  Trust me on this.
