Background
Sonya's quote best describes her views on life. She is adamantly not a thief and would never steal from anyone, not even Gaje. She believes that the only honourable way (besides paying) to go about getting something is to sweet-talk a person out of it. Swindling is much safer than stealing, and it allows her to use her considerable wits to the utmost advantage.

In this she takes greatly after her proud father Nikolai. Sonya often uses her position of Rom Baro's daughter to get her way, whether dealing with the Kumpania or Gaje.

She has been known to throw fits when her silver tongue fails to persuade. Now that she has a younger sister to love and care for, much of the childishness in her has subsided, though. She has decided that it is time to grow up and start preparing for her future. Especially now that she is married to a musician in the Spoon Fed Tribe, a group of musicians we once associated with. Due to this marriage, she is often away from us, but we usually see her at Scarborough's Spring Faire.
