No One

Why is there no-one, do we get who we deserve?
We stand alone, no-one to help us.
Can't be knocked down, too strong for that,
The weak fall of their own accord.
It's so lonely when you're smiling to yourself,
And you can't see it in your eyes.
It's so lonely when you're living in a room,
That only you will ever see.
It's so nice that no-one ever visits,
No-one sees your home.
It's so simple without other peoples feelings,
You only need to care about your own.
Today we sit alone and tend our daydreams,
From obscurity to fame,
If we live them we are broken,
That's why we never speak our name.
Here we're sheltered from 'the world',
We build our own, it's so much better.
We don't analyse each other,
Our conclusions - they wouldn't be true.
We stand alone, as strong as steel,
There is no-one, have we got who we deserve?
Maybe, but we have the advantage,
It is us who can break into your world.
Today we're citizens, tonight we will be kings,
Don't need your world, it's dirt-caked face.
We are one and we reject you,
In time we will find others, worthy of this place.
