![]() Separate from the light She sits in the corner of my mind Cringing with all her might She was stolen from her childhood Left out in the cold Bearing the brunt of other's pain Their secrets she doth hold This tiny girl is much too fragile For the terror that she's been through That is why she closed her mind And blocked out what was true Her innocence he stole As he showed her grown up ways Never thinking, never caring It would haunt her all her days Wouldn't it be nice, she thinks, If He could be in her place. Or maybe tied to a railroad track, At least her pain He could face! For now my past I must confront In order to move ahead Fighting with every step To eject this ghost from my bed And that little child in my mind Struggling to be so brave Trying to tell me what she's hidden In that dark and lonely grave I, in turn, must meet with her Taking her hand in mine Talking, comforting and loving her Till she can finally come out and shine. ![]() like to be posted here, Mail me This site is where you can add your name to others who have survived childhood abuseBreaking the Silence Comradery This site is where you can read other's stories of abuse and gain courage from them.Breaking the Silence Supported you through your trials inThe Rock of Support for all to see in The Wall Hope for Recovery who's only crime is trying to stay alive inNeal and Jesse of courage, tenasity, and ability to break the cycle against all odds in the amazing site called Ghostwolf 1-800-96-ABUSE |
